Shakey

"Some people are just too cool"

Shakey is our lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. He's the original British rocker and now rides a lovely gold Triumph Thunderbird. His favourite artist is Billy Fury. And hobbies ? Home plumbing - (contributions of towels & buckets always welcome). Who said ex-sailors liked plenty of water around them?


Dave

"4.00 a.m.and Dave's still inhaling strange smoke in Amsterdam"

Dave (aka DT) is lead guitarist & harmonica player. He has been part of the band since its formation in '97.
He recalls the very first gig (without a drummer). "We were bad. I had a stinking cold & drank a bottle of red wine before we played. Ready to rock? I don't think so!"
Dave bashes an orange Gretsch 6120, which he loves, and gives it a life expectancy of 3 years. Favourite harmonicas are Suzuki , which are strong enough for serious rock 'n roll.
A dedicated biker, he has ridden Harleys for the last 12 years, but has now returned to Triumphs with a new Bonneville " It's cooool !"

Pete

"Pete prepares to demolish another drum kit"

Pete is the drummer, now playing a beautiful set of 1960 Ludwig drums to get the authentic sound. There are plenty of good drummer jokes about, but as Pete has biceps the size of Bournemouth, we won't be telling them here! Pete rides a Triumph Bonneville & is into all rockabilly music with a driving rythm.
Favourite artistes Jerry Lee Lewis - a man who did his own thing whatever.


Mark

Mark is our bass player, and has a huge amount of experience with the rockabilly bass. Mark likes to spend some time at his home in the Carolinas, USA, each year, but now he's reporting for duty with Lucky Strike, we'll soon knock that little game on the head. He also does some mean screams - part of the numbers of course. But a while longer with this band and he'll be back on his beloved Jack Daniels & the screams could be could be for real !!
